Virtual Fireside Chat: Addressing Employees’ Hardships in the time of COVID-19
Hosted by SmartSimple, Featuring America's Charities
With the possibility of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic existing for the next few months, it’s extending financial hardships and insecurity for a lot of employees worse than ever before. One solution that organizations can offer is an Employee Assistance Fund (EAF). An EAF, also known as an Employee Crisis Fund or Employee Hardship Relief Fund, is a resource a company can set up to help employees and their families overcome financial hardships and emergencies.
Thank you to everyone who joined America’s Charities’ President and CEO Jim Starr and SmartSimple’s Senior Platform Solution Manager Dan Eardley for a live discussion about what EAFs are, what they’re not, and some common use cases from organizations that have EAFs. We appreciate everyone who asked questions about EAFs, including what you can do to help your employees cope in these trying times.
