A Wider Circle Furnishes Their 4,000th Home in 2014

This past Saturday, A Wider Circle furnished its 4,000th home of 2014! The head of the household, Delores, shared her feelings as the team at A Wider Circle loaded her vehicle:

“This is a wonderful blessing just in time for Christmas. I have never had a blessing like this!”

Delores recently moved into her first apartment and could not have been more excited to “kick up her feet” on her new couch. You can make more stories like this possible with your support.

What makes 4,000 so meaningful is the love and compassion with which it was accomplished. Through the heavy lifting and the thousands of phone calls that allow A Wider Circle to serve so many, they are guided by the principle of treating people with dignity, dignity, and more dignity.

This is especially relevant during the holiday season, when messages of hope and joy permeate the air. For the parents and children served by A Wider Cirlce, the holidays are often a painful reminder of what they are without. That is why nobody on A Wider Circle’s team thinks twice about the extra hours or increased labor that comes with this season. They know the life-changing, and sometimes life-saving, nature of the services A Wider Circle provides, and are always think of Delores and the other 3,999 mothers, grandmothers, and fathers A Wider Circle helped this year.

You can help create stable homes and a sense of hope for their families this holiday season through A Wider Circle’s Alternative Giving Guide. If people you know already have what they need, you can make a donation in their honor, and when you do, A Wider Circle will notify the recipient with a personalized holiday card.
