National Rebuilding Month
National Rebuilding Month is an annual month-long call to service, culminating with National Rebuilding Day, the last Saturday of April (April 27 this year). Last year more than 33,000 volunteers served on nearly 1,500 affiliate-led rebuild projects throughout the country in April. Follow #RebuildingMonth.
In honor of #RebuildingMonth, America’s Charities is shining the spotlight on our nonprofit members and their local Rebuild Day events:

National Rebuilding Day, our largest volunteer event of the year, is on Saturday, April 27, 2019! Hundreds of volunteers in our community will spend the day making repairs to homes and community spaces in Alexandria and DC.
There has been so much interest in National Rebuilding Day this year that we have now reached our capacity. As a result, team registration for this year’s National Rebuilding Day is now closed. (If you work at a company or organization that has already registered, you are welcome to reach out to their point person to see if you can join their team of volunteers.)
Thanks so much to all of the companies and organizations that have registered for National Rebuilding Day. We’re excited that you’ll be joining us to repair the homes of those in need in our community!
