Do You Feature Workplace Giving as a “Way to Give” On Your Website?
There are so many ways for individuals to support your nonprofit, the most obvious way being to click on the “Donate” button your nonprofit likely features as a big, brightly colored button on the top right corner of its website. But how easy (if at all) are you making it for individuals to learn how they can support you through workplace giving? Not everyone is aware that workplace giving is an option, so it’s important that you include workplace giving as a “way to give” on your website.
Approximately $5 billion is generated through workplace giving campaigns each year, and individuals who donate through workplace giving are likely to donate up to five times more to a nonprofit than traditional one-time donors. To help your organization increase its share of this important source of unrestricted, sustainable funding, America’s Charities encourages you to download and use the templates from our Member Toolkit, available as a PDF and Word document at: www.charities.org/members/resources/member-toolkit
