Featured Charity: Alzheimer’s Disease Research

Alzheimer's Disease Research, BrightFocus Foundation

As a program of BrightFocus Foundation, Alzheimer’s Disease Research’sAlzheimer's Disease Research, BrightFocus Foundation mission is to save mind and sight by funding innovative research worldwide and by promoting better health through education. We envision a world where everyone lives with clarity, grace, and good health. To date we’ve awarded more than $85 million in research grants to scientists at universities and research centers internationally in an effort to find better prevention measures, treatments, or a cure for Alzheimer’s.

What we wish more people knew about our work:

Alzheimer’s is a disease that will eventually impact all of us, and it’s scary to think that there are no treatments or cures. Many people may be aware of our research grants program, but we have outstanding resources for patients and families. You can find these resources at www.brightfocus.org/alzheimers/resources.
