Our Cause

The mission of the National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) is to improve the quality of life for Black children and families.

Our Impact

  1. We are the only national organization focused solely on the unique attributes and needs of Black children, birth through age 8.
  2. NBCDI is the preeminent voice for Black children and families.
  3. The first eight years of a child’s life set the foundation for their health, safety and overall well-being.
