Our Cause

To nurture and inspire passion for arts and learning in talented students who might not otherwise have an opportunity to develop their artistic skills.

To ensure that our students are prepared for post-secondary education and/or careers in the arts by offering an intensive arts-based program.

To prepare our students to become productive citizens in our global society through our strong focus on community service.

Our Impact

  • 80% of Ellington students are Black or Brown.
  • Our graduation rate is consistently over 98%.
  • In the last 2 years, our students have performed for Vice President Kamala Harris, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the US Department of Education, and Dave Chappelle (alum). They also sang with U2’s Bono for NPR’s Tiny Concerts.
