Help Children All Year Long

AHC Inc. provides quality Affordable Housing Communities for over 2,500 low and very-low income families in Arlington. It also offers onsite year-round educational programs for students living at five AHC properties including After-School literacy activities, one-on-one Teen Tutoring, College & Career Readiness, and a Summer Camp to prevent learning loss.

Every time AHC Inc. builds an affordable housing community, we become a support system for so many parents trying to make ends meet. With stable housing and educational opportunities for at-risk children, we have been helping families thrive since 1975.

Your Gift Will Make A Difference:

  • AHC Inc. Affordable Housing $1 per paycheck – provides literacy building activities for low-income children, including phonics games, audiobooks and listening devices, vocabulary puzzles, and more!
  • $5 per paycheck – helps one deserving child with a Summer Camp scholarship.
  • $15 per paycheck – supports a college orientation field trip for high school juniors and seniors.

AHC takes a holistic approach to affordable housing. We create innovate development strategies, manage our properties professionally and provide life-changing programs for residents.

Five community centers in Arlington offer year-round education programs for at-risk students from elementary school age right through the college acceptance process.

Together, we can make a difference! Thanks to community partners and supporters, dedicated staff, and volunteers, children are overcoming social and economic challenges, succeeding academically, graduating from high school, and going to college.
