Mobilizing CSR to Strengthen Corporate Engagement on Health and Wellness across the Value Chain

A New CSR Frontier: Business and Population HealthThe United States is spending more on healthcare than any other industrialized nation, yet Americans are living shorter lives and experiencing more injuries and illnesses than people in other high-income countries.  This is affecting not only their individual well-being, but also America’s competitiveness.

BSR’s new report reveals opportunities for U.S. companies across all sectors to address systemic challenges related to health and wellness by engaging with employees, customers, local communities, suppliers, and the general public.

Their report highlights the role of CSR teams in leading this work by helping companies examine the positive and negative health and wellness impacts of business across the value chain, and by helping them identify ways to deliver better business results and health outcomes.
